About Us

Originally known as David Hill (Fine Art) Ltd., formed by David and his wife Marjorie in 1976 and trading from rented premises in Cartergate, Newark.

In 1985 they decided to specialise in Art and Craft materials and picture framing and so they moved into their own premises at 38 Barnbygate.

The business grew quite rapidly and in 1988 their son Nick joined the company.

The neighbouring properties were acquired and an office stationery department was added in 1993.

Over 2,000 square feet of sale floor was now being utilised at 34-38 Barnbygate.

In 1996 David and Marjorie took a step back and semi-retired whilst Nick took over responsibility of the day to day running of the business.

The company now employs three full time and twelve part time staff throughout the three departments.
